It's one thing to read stuff like 'charming', 'wonderful' etc. But when you can see numerous color photos, and maybe take a virtual tour, well that's something else entirely," Carney pointed out. “Besides sometime clever wording can be used to make a defect sound like a benefit. Like "cozy" is often used to describe a room that's way too small! And who wants to buy house in Las Vegas that’s downright tiny?” |
"Now," Blake said, "a lot depends on where you will be working and how much you like 30 minute commutes or sitting in traffic."
"Another factor is your financial situation. If you're coming from California, then housing prices here seem like something out of the bargain bin. Especially if you sold a house to come out to Vegas. So the better neighborhoods like Anthem, Southern Highlands, and Green Valley in Henderson, well they're all within your reach."
"But if you're coming from Youngstown OH, well the prices may make you gasp or something!"
"Anyway, like I said, we weren't looking to buy real estate. Las Vegas always has something available. But hey! We found the perfect condo, so we jumped on it. And here we are. Unpacking boxes and settling in."
