That's because we all know there are pitfalls to being a renter. Makes no difference whether you are renting Las Vegas condos or apartments. I guess you could say being a good renter is a skill to be learned. And you can either learn to play the game the hard way from first hand experience. Or get up to speed from the advice of others.
Here's some of that advice for successfully living in :Las Vegas condos for rent.

First of all there's your lease. Do not simply rubber stamp it assuming leases for all Las Vegas condo rentals are the same. They're not. Read it so you know what you are agreeing to. You're legally bound by any of the terms spelled out in the lease. Make sure you understand and that any questions are answered to your satisfaction.
Know the neighborhood. Check it out in the evening, on weekends and after dark. Do you feel safe? Does the complex seem secure? Many fail to bother with this and live to regret it. See if you can't find out what percentage of units in the complex are currently Las Vegas condo rentals. The lower the better since property owners tend to be more stable and take better care of the place. Also check with the city to see what the crime stats say about the neighborhood.
When you inspect the place note what doesn't work or what's wrong on the lease. And get a commitment from the landlord to fix what needs fixed.
Always be professional when dealing with any owner of Las Vegas properties. That means getting everything in writing. Even if you have only seen Judge Judy a few times, you should know that many problems result from verbal agreements. Which often come to be described as "he said - she said" in court.
Who pays the utilities with the Las Vegas rental you're considering? If they're included in the rent then not to worry. But if not ask if you can't see some of the most recent bills to get an idea of what to expect. Also will you have to put down a deposit with the utility company? If so how much?
Bottom line with any condos for rent Las Vegas is simple. Can you afford it? If the rent and whatever utilities you have to pay exceeds 31% of your income that should give you pause. If you and a roommate are moving in are you sure you pay the entire tab should your roommate bail on you?
Finally don't forget renters insurance. Your landlord has insurance for the building. You need to insure your belongings in case of theft or fire. Much like you would had you bought one of condos for sale in Las Vegas.
