3 Things to Consider About Any Las Vegas Property for Sale That Have Nothing to Do with the House Itself
Issues Beyond Las Vegas Real Estate Home Sales
"When looking for Las Vegas property for sale there are a few things to keep in mind," said Kristen Whitehead. She was a busy hair salon manager who worked near Paradise, Nevada. "This isn't something a real estate agent is necessarily going to bring up either."
"Yeah, so before you buy a home in Las Vegas or sign on the dotted line for a Vegas area condo you want to get a few things straight."
"You see, whether you live in Green Valley, Summerlin, Northwest Las Vegas, Centennial Hills, or Henderson we all share one thing in common. Traffic. Bumper to bumper traffic. More than just mildly annoying traffic."
|
She added, "Commutes that a few years ago took just 10 minutes now stretch into a half hour or longer."
"Traffic congestion is a fact of life in Vegas," Whitehead pointed out. "So you might want to plan your house purchase around where you work and your tolerance for dealing with yet another bone head trying to squeeze into your lane. That would be the FIRST thing on my mind when looking at any Las Vegas Property for sale, let me tell you."
Kristen continued, "I'm not trying to tell you that traffic impacts all Las Vegas real estate home sales, but you know what? Maybe it should."
|
Then she asked, "Do you have kids? Then you also gotta consider the schools. And unless you're an idiot, when you live in boomtown you gotta expect school issues."
Double sessions.
Overcrowding.
Teacher shortages.
All that is part and parcel of living in Las Vegas.
"Yet it is generally felt that schools near the perimeter of the valley (in newer areas?) tend to be better and safer. Especially those found outside the 215 Beltway."

"Finally," Kristen concluded, "there's the shopping. This has gotten lots better in the past few years. Now there are plenty of choices beyond K-Mart or Sears. Throughout the valley. But it wasn't always this way. And not every part of the Vegas area is equally well served."
So those are the three things to keep in mind about any Las Vegas property for sale that have nothing to do with the house itself.
