Your Las Vegas realtor agent should be able to provide you with access to the MLS that lists the Clark County Nevada homes currently on the market. Ideally you should be able to access this online. So you can stick in a few parameters, do a search and see what comes up. You'll find the typical MLS listing is loaded with info. You should find a photo, detailed information about the property including price, square footage, number of bedrooms, number of bathrooms, and any extra amenities. Believe it or not these home listings offer over 100 bits of information. All valuable market intelligence. |

It will show you detailed info from comps with the price it sold for (not the listing price), year built, cost per square foot, complete with a handy dandy map too. Giving you a birds eye view of the Las Vegas real estate market.
This is a must see site if there is one for Las Vegas real estate.
Of course there are things you can't learn from a Las Vegas home listing too. Like the fact that the lovely neighborhoods found in Summerlin have won national awards. Or that it has many winding roads complete with many trees. Or that being slightly higher in elevation and protected by the mountains to the west it's cooler that other areas in the valley. Or that a potential downside is you'll have to deal with a home owner association pretty much anywhere you live in Summerlin.
