It will drop the temp of your pool by about 12 degrees overnight. Using fans to cool the water. For maybe a dollar or so a day.
Elise pointed out, "While not exactly cheap to buy, why have a pool if you can't enjoy it? Besides cooler water needs less chemical treatment. So there is bit of an offset there."
